I ended up reworking my Senior Portfolio yet again. My final idea was to do portraits of each of my main characters, paired up as foils, with each one representing a specific trait.
This is Kaytaku and Rhaikou, their characters embody the traits of skepticism and hope respectively.
I find the colors you used interesting... The red color to the lower right kind of brings you the feeling of danger, while at the same time, your character's expression bounces you back to hope. You kind of get this jittery... 'I don't know' feeling.
