Happy Thanksgiving.

Hey, a long while ago, about 8 or 9 months ago, I posted on a forum about having TB and not knowing how to tell my friends, or how they;d react. You gave me some really good advice, but at the time I had become too ill to reply. I did re-read what you and a few others had said though, numerous times, and they made me feel confident enough to tell people. In the end, people were wonderfully understanding, and all my friends acted like it was nothing more than a cold, apart from when I needed help, at which point they were skilled at helping without it seeming like helping, like when I really couldn't walk the distance we needed to, and someone would randomly declare a piggy back race. I'm now off my treatment, finally. Because of a weak immune system, they kept me on the drugs for a while, but to finally be free of them is...amazing. It's finally over. Yes, there's some scarring in my lungs....but it's over. And I decided to reply to you and the few others who's commented, because your advice had been so kind, and helped me a lot. Thank you and here's to being on the other side of it all ^_^
